The Children's LibraryThe Wagnalls Memorial has a long history of dedication to the children of our community. The first addition to the original library was the 1961 addition of a children's library. Since the mid-20th century, school children from Bloom Elementary that was in Lithopolis and now elementary students from Bloom Carroll Elementary School have special visits to the Wagnalls Children's Library. The Children's Library has so much to offer in addition to all the books and movies!
Please follow us on Facebook or Instagram for program and event information.

Ruth's Corner is a special place in our Children's Library named for a special patron. Ruth loved coming to Wagnalls and often visited when she was visiting her grandparents next door. Her family has funded Ruth's Corner in her memory to encourage other children to love reading and their libraries!
During our gala on March 8, our guests donated over $1,600 to purchase Wonderbooks. Wonderbooks are print books with ready-to-play audio book inside. They are available for all ages!
Currently the small collection we have in the Children's department is usually all checked out. We look forward to adding more to this collection as well as books for older patrons!
Wonderbooks cost $50 or more each. If you would like to donate, please stop in the library and make a donation. To make a donation online to purchase Wonderbooks, click here!
